Associate Professor Anne-Marie Jackson (Ngāti Whātua, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Kahu, Ngāti Wai) is a Māori researcher at the University of Otago, School of Physical Education, Sport and Exercise Sciences. She is co-Director of a Māori research group called Te Koronga. Her research examines mauri ora (flourishing wellness) of Māori communities. In this context some of her experiences and skills include: Māori development, Te Reo and wellbeing within rugby (professional, regional Māori teams and club); sport administration (Māori rugby) and; coaching (netball, rugby).
